Find Kaiser Permanente Medicare doctors and medical facilities
Your choice of doctors
Good health care begins with your relationship with your doctor, so we’ve made it easy for you to choose the right physician. All of our available doctors welcome our Medicare health plan members.
Use our online directory to search for doctors near you. You can also use the directory to browse our doctor profiles, including professional background, education, credentials, and more. And remember — you can change to another Kaiser Permanente doctor at any time, for any reason. You can also download a copy of our provider directory or find out how to request a directory be mailed to you in the Plans and rates section, just click on the “Enrollment materials” tab.
If you need help choosing a doctor or would like a provider directory mailed to you, contact Member Services or visit our new member center.
When you choose Kaiser Permanente, you get a coordinated approach to care, combined with the convenience of treatment close to home. Your Kaiser Permanente doctor’s office and many of our services like pharmacy, lab, and X-ray are often in one location. And when you talk to your Kaiser Permanente doctor or care team by phone, video, or email, you get the same quality care as an in-person visit.* An advice nurse can also answer your questions by phone. They’re at your service, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
To find a Kaiser Permanente medical facility in your area, go to our facility directory, which you can search alphabetically, by keyword, or by region.
Or you can download a copy of our pharmacy directory in the Plans and rates section, just click on the “Enrollment materials” tab.
To receive a copy of the pharmacy directory by mail, contact Member Services.
Prescription drug coverage
Our formulary (list of covered drugs) is carefully selected by a team of health care providers, including doctors and pharmacists. This team thoroughly reviews medical literature and selects drugs based on several factors such as effectiveness and safety.
View the latest prescription drug formulary to learn about the drugs that are covered in your region.
Once you become a member, you can have your prescriptions transferred to a Kaiser Permanente pharmacy. Then you’ll be able to order refills and get information about your medications online.
We know that prescription drug coverage is extremely important. If you still have questions after viewing our formulary, please call us anytime. One of our Kaiser Permanente Medicare specialists can walk you through Medicare drug plans and your options or benefits with Kaiser Permanente.
